Fail RP
- Treat all your actions as if they happen in real life. For instance, if someone uses duct tape to cover your mouth, you won’t be able to talk.
- If someone points a gun at your head, you must comply with their instructions and directions, regardless of your beliefs or feelings. The only exception to this rule is if you already have a firearm in hand to counter the perpetrator’s instructions. However, if you find yourself vastly surrounded and outnumbered, it is recommended that you value your life and comply with their demands.
- In any situation where your life is in danger, you must comply with the other parties’ demands if they have an advantage over you, such as a 2 to 1 ratio.
- If your character dies (flat-backed) in a scene, they should forget any information or knowledge from that specific interaction, and you are no longer allowed to involve your character in that scene or interaction.
- You may not initiate interactions while inside a vehicle. To start an interaction, you must be on foot and have no weapons drawn.
- Forcing another player to go to a bank or an ATM to force players to pull out money or force others to give you keys to their residence is not allowed.
- Body dumping is not allowed. This refers to relocating a dead person’s body from the location where they were killed, which can make it difficult for EMS to locate them.
- Shooting or robbing employees while inside their workplace is not allowed. Similarly, employees are also not allowed to engage in such actions.
- Impersonating any whitelisted job or faction is strictly prohibited.
- Trolling and no intention to roleplay (NITRP) is strictly prohibited. This includes refusing to engage in roleplay and intentionally disrupting the roleplay experience of others through your actions or statements.
- Realistic Driving: Driving during any scene, especially PD scenes, must be done in a realistic manner that aligns with real life. Stunt jumps, driving unrealistically fast through impossible terrain, or bombing it straight up a mountain will be considered FailRP.
Powergaming is defined as using a loophole or exploiting a situation that is not allowed to gain an advantage, whether for yourself or another player. An example would be initiating a hostile action and then running into a Green Zone to protect yourself, which is not permitted.
- Examples of powergaming include, but are not limited to:
- Ignoring the limitations of your character’s physical abilities to gain an advantage.
- Forcing another character to perform actions they wouldn’t realistically do.
- Refusing to acknowledge injuries or the consequence of actions.
- Invincibility or God-like behavior without justification.
- Creating unrealistic and overpowered scenarios for your character.
- Manipulating the game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage.
- Running into a green zone in the middle of a scene.
- Using a locked door to hide from players or police during a chase or interaction.
- “Flexing your muscles” to avoid being robbed, cuffed, or escorted.
- Using any form of escorting or transporting people in a vehicle without having them properly seated is considered a violation of powergaming. It can be seen as Fail RP as well. To maintain a realistic roleplay experience, it’s important to take the time to ensure that passengers are seated properly before moving them in a vehicle.
- Once an interaction has begun you may not be in your stash for any reason. Stashing items is considered power gaming and will be treated as such.
- You can not use your stash mid scene this is considered power gaming and will be dealt with as such.
- Ignoring the limitations of your character’s physical abilities to gain an advantage.
While there may not be an exhaustive list of powergaming examples, the examples demonstrate how powergaming involves abusing in-game mechanics for purposes that disrupt the roleplay experience or go against the intended gameplay. The final decision will be at the staff’s discretion.
